These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Peterborough Locksmiths ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website and services.
We provide emergency and scheduled locksmith services. We aim to attend emergency call-outs within our stated response times, but these times are estimates and not guarantees. Factors such as traffic, weather, and availability may affect arrival times.
We operate a transparent pricing policy. An estimate will be provided before work commences. However, if the job is more complex than initially described or discovered upon inspection, we reserve the right to adjust the price. Any price changes will be communicated to you for approval before proceeding. Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work.
If you need to cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after our locksmith has already been dispatched may incur a call-out charge to cover travel costs.
We provide a 12-month warranty on all parts supplied and fitted by us. This warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not cover damage caused by misuse, attempted forced entry, or normal wear and tear.
While we take every care to carry out our work to the highest standard, we cannot be held liable for pre-existing damage to doors or frames. In the event of non-destructive entry failing, we may need to use destructive methods (e.g., drilling a lock), which will be discussed with you beforehand.
